John is a superb fitness trainer skilled in tailoring the types of sessions and workout regimens necessary to achieve and improve strength, flexibility, balance, and endurance. When I met John two years ago, I was not quite a “98-pound weakling” but close due to a serious medical setback which he helped me weather. John is a prince among men! He possesses a deep knowledge of physiology and is rigorous and attentive to proper techniques to avoid injury and maximize benefits from a range of exercises and equipment. He is adept at varying workouts to address issues specifically and plans for gradual and steady improvement. His sessions are focused and creative. I always feel I have accomplished something after a workout and can see and feel the progress under his guidance.
John’s keen sense of humor, wide variety of interests, intellect, and quiet manner of encouragement are very helpful and appreciated. I have trained with John for the past two years and then some, achieving a steady improvement in overall physical and mental fitness.
